Crossdressing, Glamour and Beauty:

I have crossdressed all my adult life off and on.  In the past 30yrs it has grown thru several stages of purging to the point where I cannot stand to wear male clothing.  My look was androgynous for a while, until I decided to go all the way.  Now I am a full time Transgender Woman (always have been but now I am living it fully).  The time I spent crossdressing really helped me figure out what feels best for me.  Whether you go full time or dress once a year. Use the sites below to "play" and dream a little dream.  But be careful what you wish for!!!  You will get it!

The following is a list of Makeover companies who will take you from Beau to Beautiful!!  These are my personal pics.  I have checked these out and would use these services myself.  If you are just getting started or you are thinking of going full time, I highly recommend getting a makeover and keeping the picture with you as inspiration.  This is precisely what I did and am very happy with my results.  Also, ask about makeup tips and so forth.  This is their business so they will take good care of you.

Here are some sites to help with your makeup.  I sold Mary Kay for a short while and studied their materials on doing makeup.  I also researched Avon and this website is great to play with different looks without actually putting the makeup on.  You will need to register to use the site, but that is a small price to pay for an awesome site.  One tip I learned at Mary Kay is the importance of eye brows to your overall look.  Grooming them properly and doing make-up on them is vital.

Be aware that product brands offer training at the expense of pitching their products.  If you are good at saying no or if you have decided to go with a certain brand, search for training classes using the products.  I did this with Avon, Mary Kay and Mac.  The choices in the makeup world are vast.  Youtube.com has great video choices and the trick is finding the right terms to search.  I will not offer any specific video links here because I feel it is best you follow your heart and soul, however I will offer this one to get you started.

You may hear a lot of talk about techniques to feminize the face.  I learned a few of these and recommend you do what serves you best.  I personally am a woman so I work with my features as any woman would.  I did find one site that covers techniques to feminize which may interest you.

Transgender feminization tips

Remember that your purpose will determine the type and style of make-up used.  Crossdressers going out for the evening will stick to evening wear techniques, drag queens will dress in their own style and transsexuals who are living full time will use another more natural technique. Even though I am full time, I like to change up my makeup to fit the event I am attending.  So I go from mascara and lip blush only during the day, casual shopping, or just hanging out to dark smokey eyes or flashy bright makeup for evening club activities.  Again this is the same as any woman would do.  If you are crossdressing you may want to go a bit more dramatic, but that is up to you.  When I use the term crossdressing I am refering to males who dress as females temporarily.  Please refer to the TransTerminology page for more on these details.  OK, so there you have a start.  Please see the Cosmetic Application Guide for application tips and look back here from time to time as I will be updating the site as I find more info.  If you have questions or suggestions use the tab to the upper left and drop me a line.
